Game Directions and Helpful Hints
Word Dynamite
- Abbreviations need to have required periods included for the answer
to be counted as correct. For example, e.g. must have the periods included.
- Where there are multiple answers needed, like multiple roots, there
is a hint about how many answers are needed. These multiple answers must
be typed in in alphabetical order and each answer must be separated by
the word or. For example, the for the root of father, two roots are typed
in like this: pater or patri. These are in alphabetical order and are
separated by the word or.
- Note the word form you need to put in (noun, verb, adj., adv.). This
will give you a big hint about the correct answer.
- Roots, prefixes, and suffixes should not include a hyphen when you type
in your answer.
Word Finder
- Words may appear from left to right, backwards, or diagonally.
- Put the arrow (cursor) on the first letter of the word, hold down the
left mouse button, and drag the circle to enclose the word.
- After you correctly find a word, that word will disappear from the list
or words you need to find.
Crossword
- To type in your answer, put the cursor in the first box, type the first
letter, and then use either the TAB key or move the cursor to the next
box to continue typing.
